Vijay Makkal Iyakkam is Thalapathy Vijay's fan club turned into a welfare organisation. VMI became very active ever since the members contested in local body elections last year and earned victory in many places. The organisation's general secretary Bussy Anand initiated the Lawyers team last month as per the actor's instructions.

Now, Bussy Anand has brought together a new IT wing for Thalapathy Vijay's Makkal Iyakkam and a meeting was held today in the VMI head office, ECR Panaiyur. The secretary informed them about Vijay's instructions for the IT wing. The instructions include no personal attack on anyone, the members should not indulge in caste, religion or language based discrimination and be rational and all their discussions and criticisms should be civil.

Bussy Anand also said that Thalapathy Vijay's fan club emerged as a Makkal Iyakkam and the organisation is now moving towards a new dimension, indirectly hinting at the actor's political entry. He also confirmed that Thalapathy Vijay will meet all his fans at the Leo audio launch event, which will take place next month. This is now going viral on social media.
