Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal' directed by Atlee and produced by Sri Thenandal Studios has hit the 200 Crore mark at the worldwide box office and has become a monster hit.  However the Telugu version 'Adhirindhi' could not release on the planned Diwali day as the censor certificate was not issued on time and has seen undue delays for the past three weeks.

'Adhirindhi' has at last received its censor certificate today and the CBFC has awarded it a U/A certificate similar to the Tamil version.  The film which has Vijay in triple roles with Samantha, Nithya Menen and Kajal Agarwal playing the female leads is ready to hit the screens to 'Mersal' Telugu audiences and the official date will be announced soon.
