RJ Balaji's latest outing Vetla Vishesham is running successfully in cinemas and is receiving some overwhelming love from the family audience. Though the film is a remake of a Hindi film the film not only made justice to the original but also overshadowed it in some scenes.
The success meet of the film was held recently and while speaking on the occasion, Balaji also revealed an interesting piece of information that he had narrated a story to none other than Thalapathy Vijay, earlier this year. While Vijay had expected a fun project like Balaji's films, the story that he had narrated to Vijay was on a grand scale, which required a substantial amount of time to materialise. The actor jestfully stated that he was hopeful of Thalapathy77 / Thalapathy87, sometime in the future.
This news has come as an unexpected interest update in the film industry. On the other hand, Veetla Vishesham is a remake of Amit Ravindernath Sharma's Badhaai Ho, which starred Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Neena Gupta, Gajaraj Rao and late Surekha Sikhri in lead roles. The plot revolves around a middle-aged couple who get pregnant, much to the embarrassment of their grown-up children.
The Tamil adaptation of the film stars RJ Balaji, Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Sathyaraj and the late KPAC Lalitha. Veetla Vishesham, produced by Boney Kapoor, is helmed by Balaji along with NJ Saravanan, with whom he had collaborated for his earlier venture, Mookuthi Amman
