Vijay signs agreement with a major corporate for non cinema business?

Thalapathy Vijay has had a steady rise in stardom right from the start of the new millenium and is now one of the if not the most bankable Tamil hero. Guided by his father S.A. Chandrasekhar he invested his earnings in marriage halls and owns three of them. Two halls J.S. and Shobha Kalyana Mandapam are located in Kumaran Colony and Saligramam respectively.

The other hall named after his wife Sangeetha is in Porur, Chennai. Now it is reported that Vijay has signed an agreement to lease out the Saligramam and Porur properties to Reliance Retail Limited that runs the Reliance Fresh stores. It is said that both the marraige halls will be converted into super market stores for a rent of rupees ten lakhs a month. There is no official word about this non cinema business deal that Viay reportedly signed.

Meanwhile the Thalapathy has just completed a major schedule of shooting in Hyderabad for his upcoming biggie 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju. The film releasing worldwide on Pongal 2023 has the all star cast of Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, Jayasudha, Khushbu, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu.
