Now, the hot topic is the interesting incident that Prakash Raj shared in the grand audio launch of Varisu, which took place in Chennai yesterday. He revealed Thalapathy Vijay's reaction when they met on the Varisu sets after all these years. The veteran also added that he is very surprised to see the growth of the actor in him.

Prakash Raj said, "We had our first shot together after 14 years in Varisu. Vijay came to me after the shot and said, 'Chellam, indha kanna ivlo pakkathula paathu evlo naal aachu'. Vijay's performance in the climax was great. I became a fan of his acting." The senior actor also confirmed that he has played the villain role in the much-awaited movie.

Varisu is slated to storm the cinemas on Pongal 2023, competing with the Ajith Kumar starrer 'Thunivu'. It is worth mentioning that Vijay is locking horns with his competitor on the same day (January 12) after nine years. The movie's distributor Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio confirmed that Varisu will be the biggest release in Thalapathy Vijay's career.
