Thalapathy Vijay fans on one side and theater owners on the other are eagerly awaiting the release of 'Master' to bring back cheer in the industry ravaged by the coronavirus pandemic. Meanwhile, the hot buzz is that a special edit of the film was screened for Vijay and he is said to be highly impressed by the film.

Sources add that Vijay not only appreciated Lokesh Kanagaraj for his stylized presentation of 'Master' but also expressed is a desire to work with the young director once again in the near future. It is already believed that the same team of Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Seven Screen Studios is likely to work again.

There has been rumours that 'Master' could also go directly to OTT like Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' but the team insiders swear that Vijay and the producers are no considering that at all and are intent on bringing the film to big screen to give fans the joy of theatre experience.

'Master' has the chart-busting hit music by Anirudh and the dream combo of Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi as the hero and the villain. Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shantanu Bhagyaraj and Arjun Dass head the rest of the ensemble cast.

Sources in the know add that 'Master' is most likely to hit the screens in November for Diwali if the COVID 19 situation eases out or Pongal 2021 is a definite possibility.
