Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' debuted on the silver screens on January 11 as a Pongal treat to the fans. The family entertainer went on to be one of the highest grossers in the actor's filmography. As per the reports, the movie collected around Rs 310 crores across the globe.

The fans have been eagerly waiting for the OTT release of Varisu. Earlier, we reported to you that the film will be made available on the streaming platforms on February 22. Now, the latest is that Sri Venkateswara Creations officially announced that Varisu is coming to OTT on February 22 in multiple languages.

On February 22, Varisu will stream on Amazon Prime Video in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam in India. The celebrated entertainer will premiere on Simply South and Sun NXT on the same date outside India. Sharing the new posters for the OTT release, the production house wrote, "Get ready to experience this captivating story laced with emotional turmoil!" (sic).

Varisu is coming to OTT as Vaarasudu in Telugu and Vamshajan in Malayalam. The OTT release date of the Hindi dubbed version will be revealed soon. Vijay, Rashmika, Yogi Babu, Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha and others played main roles in the movie with music by Thaman, visuals by Karthik Palani and editing by Praveen KL.
