We reported that the actress Varalakshmi Sarathkumar bumped into Thalapathy Vijay during her flight to Hyderabad on August 31. Now, we hear that the superstar actor flew to the City of Pearls to shoot for a new schedule of his upcoming movie 'Varisu' with director Vamshi Paidipally.

The latest reports suggest that the 'Varisu' shooting is briskly happening in Hyderabad. The makers will move to Chennai for the next schedule in October after wrapping up the current leg. The Chennai schedule is said to be the final schedule of the filming. Sources say that the entire filming works will be wrapped up with a song shoot with Thalapathy Vijay.

Also, the hot buzz is that the fans can expect 'Varisu' first single release on Diwali day. Thaman scores music for the movie and Dil Raju is producing the venture. The film is on track for a Pongal 2023 release. Recent speculations hint that Ajith Kumar's 'AK61' might join the Pongal race taking on Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu'.

Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead while the movie also stars Yogi Babu, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Shaam, Srikanth, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha, Khushbu, Ganesh Venkatraman and others in prominent roles. Karthick Palani handles the cinematography and Praveen KL takes care of the editing.
