Its a dream run for Sivakarthikeyan who started his career as a mimicry artiste and later on a television anchor to now one of the most bankable stars of Tamil cinema.  Siva has especially caught the imagination of children and youngsters along with family audiences.
To recall, Thalapathy Vijay during an awards function stated that Sivakarthikeyan has endeared himself to children and that is the sign on a universally liked hero.  True to his words Siva found himself surrounded by kids at all  the 'Velaikaaran' promo events including in the neighbouring state Kerala.  The much awaited 'Velaikaaran' directed by Mohan Raja and produced by 24AM Studios is releasing this Friday the 22nd of December with much fanfare.
