Thalapathy Vijay's politically charged speech at the 'Sarkar' audio launch is recieving polarised reactions by politicians in the state. Newsmen caught with the Makkal Neethi Maiam leader Kamal Haasan seeking his opinion on his film industry colleague Vijay's speech and political entry.

Kamal in his inimitable style stated that if Vijay has the inclination to enter politics he welcomes him and as said in his speech his stand against corruption is an appreciable one. The Ulaganayagan further added that since he too is primarily against corruption he and Vijay share the brotherly bond if he too is strong on this point.

It may be recalled that in an earlier interview a few years back Kamal had expressed his wish that Vijay should continue in the film world and star in different genre films and entertain his huge fan base.
