Thalapathy Vijay launched his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, earlier this year, announcing his full-time entry into politics after completing his films 'GOAT' and 'Thalapathy 69' to contest the 2026 state elections. The production work for 'GOAT' is finished, and post-production is underway.
According to recent sources, Vijay will be engaged in continuous political activities before beginning 'Thalapathy 69.' The first state gathering of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam is planned to take place in Trichy, either in September or November. Following this, four regional meetings and ten district general meetings are scheduled.
