Thalapathy Vijay in talks with young pan Indian mega blockbuster hit movie director

Thalapathy Vijay after delivering the al time record-breaking movie ‘Master’ costarring Vijay Sethupathi will begin shooting for his next ‘Thalapathy 65’ from May 3rd onwards.  He will be shooting for a song first to be choreographed by Jani.  The film produced by Sun Pictures is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Anirudh and Pooja Hegde playing the female lead.

We already brought you the news that Vijay has decided to do back-to-back movies after requests from the producers since he is one of the very few actors who can pull audiences to the theaters in the coronavirus pandemic situation.  Sri Thenandal Studios, AGS Entertainment, Seven Screen Studios and a few other big production houses are in the fray for his next call sheet.

In the meantime, popular Telugu producer Dil Raju has expressed his interest to produce a mega-budget film with Thalapathy Vijay to be directed by Prashanth Neel of ‘KGF’ fame.  A birdie tells us that already the producer and the director have had initial round of talks with the mass hero and the outcome is pretty good for all concerned.  If all goes well then the Vijay-Prashanth Neel-Dil Raju project could be ‘Thalapathy 67’ and will go on floors in mid-2022.  Let’s wait for the official confirmation on this one in the coming months.

Prashanth Neel meanwhile is awaiting the release of ‘KGF : Chapter 2’ on July 16th, 2021 and is currently shooting his big-budget Telugu flick ‘Salaar’ starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan which is slated for release on April 14th, 2022.

Dil Raju on the other hand is bankrolling his 50th film directed by Shankar and starring Ram Charan Teja for whom it is his fifteenth film as well.
