After the blockbuster 'Sarkar' Thalapathy Vijay's next film which will be his 63rd film has been officially launched today with an auspicious Pooja in Chennai.

The film which is currently referred as 'Thalapathy63' will be directed by Atlee and produced by AGS Entertainment banner. Archana Kalpathi the CEO of AGS Cinemas has announced the same in her Twitter and Instagram pages.

Thalapathy Vijay took part in the inaugural pooja this morning along with a host of cast and crew members which include actor Kathir who is fresh out of the success of 'Pariyerum Perumal' and Anandraj. The film which is touted to focus on the state of sports in the country will have Nayanthara as the female lead and A.R.Rahman's music score.

Sources reveal that the shooting of 'Thalapathy 63' is all set to begin tomorrow (January 21) in Chennai and it is scheduled to hit the screens for Diwali 2019.
