It is a known fact that Thalapathy Vijay is a hardcore fan of Superstar Rajinikanth and has paid tributes to him in several movies. It has now come to light that Vijay's motivation is the starting point for Rajini's next movie which should make fans of both ecstatic. Check how it all transpired.

Nelson Dilipkumar who started his film career with the super hit Nayanthara starrer 'Kolamavu Kokila' went a few notches higher with his second blockbuster hit 'Doctor' starring Sivakarthikeyan. He surprised both fans and the film industry when he was ticked to direct Vijay's 'Beast' produced by Sun Pictures. The film that has Pooja Hegde as the heroine is awaiting release on April 13th this year.

Meanwhile Nelson once again became the envy of his peers as a few months back Sun Pictures announced him as the director of Superstar Rajinikanth's next 'Thalaivar 169'. The affable director in his most recent interview to a leading Tamil weekly has revealed that it was Vijay who motivated him to narrate the script to Rajini.

According to Nelson during the shooting of 'Beast' , Vijay came up to him and told him that Sun and Rajini are looking for scripts for their next film and asked him to try. Nelson apparently hesitated but his the Thalapathy motivated him by saying that he will definately get the chance to direct the legend if he comes up with the proper script. The much loved hero even told him to start scripting immediately saying that he can move on to the Rajini film as soon as 'Beast' is completed.

Nelson's revelation is further proof of not only how much Vijay reveres Rajini but also his attitude in wishing the best for talented technicians who work with him.
