For all those millions of Thalapathy Vijay fans waiting for the update on the mega movie 'Mersal' Sri Thenandal Studios has officially confirmed that the mega film will hit the screens as scheduled on Diwali the 18th of October.

With harldy another ten days to go for the release of 'Mersal' the team will start full swing promotions immediately and the next big announcement will be the release date of the trailer after the teaser broke all Indian records.  Lets wait with bated breath for the trailer before watching the movie.
