Grand Rex in Paris is one of the most reputed cinema halls in the world known for its sumptuous decorations and also for its large seating capacity. While it is convention for it to only screen Hollywood and world movies, Tamil industry’s ‘Kabali’ and ‘Mersal’ earned the distinguished achievement of getting screened in this prestigious theatre.
Now joining the elite line up is Bollywood’s ‘Padmavat’ which directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The film which stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead roles is set to release in the country on January 25 and also it will be displayed in Grand Rex on January 26, 7.30 pm.
The Grand Rex has a total seating capacity of 2800 individuals seats with a staggering 1300 balcony seats. And is it not a proud moment for Indian films to be screened in such an elite and prestigious world class theatre!
