Vijay's 'Mersal' makes record business even before its release!

Even before the release of the film, Thalapathy Vijay has proved his star power once again. As the state is currently experiencing ‘Mersal’ effect, the film has shocked one and all by already repaing in more than 150 crores as pre business profits.
It is also commendable that ‘Mersal’ is the latest Vijay film to see a 35 % increase in terms of pre release business compared to his previous films. This feat of ‘Mersal’ just makes it stand next to Rajini’s ‘Kabali’ which earned about 200 crores in pre-release business.
While the ‘Mersal’ fever is at an all time high, this comes as a pleasant news both to the makers of the film and fans who eagerly await to witness Thalapathy in the big screen.
