Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’ created history by becoming the first south Indian Tamil film to get a Twitter emoji. Fans worldwide were much excited to use the Vijay emoji which has been trending in the social media for a very long time.

This unique promotion was made to make ‘Mersal’ a hit among fans and netizens in general and one could rightly say that the idea has excelled past the expectations. However, it is reported that the much famed and trending Vijay ‘Mersal’ emoji will go offline from Twitter this evening.

Even though fans are a little disappointed, millions wait fingers crossed for the next biggie. We had earlier reported that Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘2.0’ will also get its own Twitter emoji and no doubt it will create mass mania for Thalaivar as ‘Mersal’ emoji did for Vijay.
