With just three more days for the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Mersal’, the film’s official teaser went on to create a record by gaining 1 million likes. Earlier, the teaser had garnered 10 million views within 24 hours of its release and crossed the 20 million mark within the first week of its release.

At present the ‘Mersal’ teaser is inching towards 29 million views with a whopping one million likes. ‘Mersal’ directed by Atlee has Vijay playing three distinct roles of a doctor, village head and a magician. The ensemble cast also includes Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Samantha, SJ Suryah, Vadivelu and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles.

The movie which is being bankrolled Sri Thenandal Films is set to enchant fans starting this Diwali on October 18.
