Atlee is a celebrated and successful director who earned a huge fanbase for his consecutive blockbusters. All his four films including his debut work were commercially profitable ventures. Then, the filmmaker flew to Bollywood to make his Hindi debut with Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan.

Atlee turns 36 years old today and he celebrated it with India's two biggest superstars - Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay. Sharing a delightful picture from their day on social media, Atlee wrote, "What more can I ask on my bday , the best bday ever wit my pillars. My dear @iamsrk sir & ennoda annae ennoda thalapathy @actorvijay" (sic).

An online buzz earlier stated that Vijay might essay a cameo in this movie and this photo adds fuel to the speculation. It is worth mentioning that Atlee has delivered three back-to-back industry hits with Thalapathy Vijay - Theri, Mersal and Bigil. Sources say that Atlee might possibly direct the actor again in 'Thalapathy 68'.

Atlee and Shah Rukh Khan are currently shooting for their film 'Jawan' in Chennai which also stars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Deepika Padukone, Priyamani, Sunil Grover and Sanya Malhotra in main roles. The film is being shot in Pune, Mumbai and Hyderabad too. With music by Anirudh, it is slated to be released on 2nd June 2023.
