Thalapathy Vijay was earlier working on his upcoming film, 'Thalapathy 68', directed by Venkat Prabhu. We already brought to you that he took a break from the filming and rushed to Chennai following the demise of the legendary actor-politician Captain Vijayakanth.
Now, it has been reported that the actor is flying south to carry out some welfare activities. Thalapathy Vijay will meet the people affected by the heavy rains and floods in the Nellai and Tuticorin districts and provide relief materials today. More than 400 affected people from Tuticorin have been taken to the event which will be held at Madha Maaligai in KTC Nagar, Tirunelveli.
Thalapathy Vijay Makkal Iyakkam members have made all the necessary arrangements for the event and it will begin today at 11 AM. This news is now doing rounds on the internet. The 'Leo' actor has been actively helping people and building VMI strongly as a groundwork for his political entry. He is soon to take a hiatus from cinema and concentrate on politics.
