Thalapathy Vijay meets 115 fans who became councillors - 11 point political plan charted out

In the recently concluded rural local body elections in Tamil Nadu, 115 members of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam out of 169 who contested won the people's vote and became village panchayat ward heads. Today at 5pm Vijay had a meeting with the winners and congratulated them.

Bussy Anand, the General Secretary of the VMI, met the media and thanked the people who helped the executives who contested on behalf of the Vijay People's Movement in the rural local elections. He added, “The Vijay Makkal Iyakkam has won 129 seats in the recent rural local elections. Of these, 2 persons have been elected for the post of Panchayat President, 12 persons for the post of Vice-President and the rest for the ward members. Actor Vijay posed for a photo with the winning executives. He also wished them the very best in their service to the people.

Anand further stated that Vijay advised the councillors to take the problems faced by the people to the state and central government needful to ensure that the basic facilities required by the people are provided to them. He told reporters that Vijay has given a 11-point plan in politics to his fans and that he will take appropriate action against any member who works against the organization.
