Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' has finally landed on the big screens a couple of days ago. Now, all eyes are on the actor's upcoming project with Lokesh Kanagaraj, tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 67'. The super-hyped film went on floors in December 2022 and the regular shoot commenced this month.

Now, we hear that the makers have completed the first schedule of Thalapathy 67 in Chennai yesterday. The latest reports suggest that the next schedule will begin in the third week of January in Kashmir locations. Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj confirmed recently that the official announcement of the film will be made within ten days.

The most-awaited movie will be funded by producer Lalit Kumar under the banner Seven Screen Studio with music by Anirudh. According to the sources, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, director Gautham Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan are playing pivotal roles in Thalapathy 67.
