A major shooting schedule of Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj was shot non stop for two months in Kashmir. The cast and crew took a short break and now a new schedule has begun in Chennai. It is well known that Lokesh is a big fan of veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan who was the first choice for the male lead in his blockbuster hit 'Kaithi' which was eventually played by Karthi.

When it was announced that Mansoor Ali Khan is on board in 'Leo' there was great excitement among fans. There were reports that the outspoken actor was part of the Kashmir schedule. However in his latest press interaction the 61 year old has given the surprise update that he is yet to shoot fot the much awaited film.

Mansoor said that his portions will begin soon most probably in the Chennai or Hyderabad location. He stated that he is happy to act with Thalapathy Vijay after a long gap and shared that the duo have shared screen space in ten to eleven films out of which 'Deva' was much talked about.

'Leo' has music by Anirudh and stars Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand, Sandy, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mathew Thomas and action king Arjun among others. Lalit Kumar is producing the film under his banner Seven Screen Studios with a huge budget. Manoj Paramahamsa is handling the camera, Philomin Raj the editing, Satish Kumar the art direction, Anbariv the stunt direction and Dinesh the dance choreography. The film has locked the release date on October 19th this year.
