Thalapathy Vijay is currently shooting for 'The Greatest Of All Time', directed by Venkat Prabhu. He is yet to make a decision regarding the director of his 69th film. Recently, he announced that he would be quitting cinema after 'Thalapathy 69' to join full-time politics. This has raised the expectations for these films multifold.

We already informed you that nearly 8 filmmakers from the Tamil and Telugu industries are in the race to direct 'Thalapathy 69'. The list includes Karthik Subbaraj, H Vinoth, Vetrimaaran, Trivikram Srinivas and others. Now, the latest addition to the list is RJ Balaji. The comedian-turned-actor-director has narrated a one-liner to the actor.

According to a report by DT Next, RJ Balaji and KarthikSubbaraj are the front runners to direct 'Thalapathy 69'. The actor was impressed with the ideas pitched by both and asked them to work on the final draft. He is likely to finalise the project in the next hearing of the full script. The project will be bankrolled by the prestigious DVV Entertainment.
