Tamil Nadu politics is set to witness a new force as Thalapathy Vijay put out the official announcement regarding his political entry. He revealed registering the new party, 'Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam', with the Election Commission and is waiting for the approval.
The actor mentioned in his statement that he would be quitting cinema to concentrate on politics after completing the one film he signed already. He is currently shooting for 'The Greatest Of All Time' in Venkat Prabhu's direction, which is said to be a sci-fi fantasy flick. Sources tell us that his 69th film will be his last film, which is one more movie after 'GOAT'.
Earlier, it was reported that Vijay will be joining director Karthik Subbaraj for 'Thalapathy 69' with production by Sun Pictures or DVV Entertainment. Now, the latest hot buzz is that director H Vinoth has narrated a political story to Thalapathy. But the catch is that Vinoth has to get an NOC from Raaj Kamal Films International over the 'KH 233' project.
It is said that Vijay is planning to do a political film before contesting in elections. However, these are unconfirmed reports which should be taken with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, 'KH 233' is reportedly dropped and Vinoth is said to direct Dhanush next. As per speculations, Vinoth also has plans to do a political satire with Yogi Babu and 'Theeran 2' with Karthi.
