Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' shooting has been going on almost non-stop from the time it was announced on January 19th and if not for the film industry strike would have been completed by now. The final song shooting is going to happen in Las Vegas and Vijay is going to fly there tomorrow (4th Aug). The song will be choreographed by Shobi who also did the record breaking "Aalaporaan Thamzhan" from 'Mersal'. The team is expected to begin work on the 6th and complete by the 11th and may also shoot some talkie portions.

'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Yogi Babu, Pazha Karuppaiah and Premkumar are also in the cast. A.R. Rahman scores the music, A. Sreekar Prasad handles the editing and Girish Gangadharan the cinematography. The film is slated for release on Diwali this year.
