Thalapathy Vijay to grace 'Jawan' promotions? Is cameo confirmed?

The Shah Rukh Khan starrer 'Jawan', directed by Atlee is slated for release on September 7th worldwide with huge expectations among fans all over. The promotions have begun in full swing and the team has also planned a grand event in Chennai.
Now the huge buzz is that Thalapathy Vijay is likely to participate in the special even for 'Jawan' and will share the stage with Shah Rukh Khan. There is already speculations that Vijay is doing a cameo role as a cop in the film an now his rare participation in a film event sort of gives it more credence. However there is no official word on either of these news as of now. The audio and trailer launch event of Vijay's 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is also planned later in September and Thalapathy fans are waiting to hear his speech.
'Jawan' produced by SRK has music by Anirudh, cinematography by G.K. Vishnu, editing by Ruben and production design by T. Muthuraj. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Priya Mani and Deepika Padukone.
