Thalapathy Vijay's house in the Neelangarai and ECR area was sensationalized last month when the Income Tax Department conducted raids and also questioned him for over thirty hours.  However, the mass hero was given a clean chit that he had properly shown accounts for the cumulative amount of 135 Crores that he receieved as salary for 'Bigil' and 'Master'.

Today the Vijay residence area once again became a bustle of activity as government officials visited him.  It was later reported in the media that the Health Department officers had information that Vijay had gone abroad and returned recently and wanted to check due to the coronavirus pandemic.  The officers were informed that no one from the Thalapathy residence went abroad in the last six months and they apparenly left without pasting any mandatory notice regarding a COVID 19 warning.  However disinfectant was sprayed as a precaution throughout the premises.

It is worth mentioning that a couple of days back 'Master' heroine Malavika Mohanan shared a picture of Thalapathy Vijay, Anirudh and executive producer Jagadish on a conference call.  It became clear that Vijay is strictly practicing social distancing and stay at home to combat the coronavirus and also inspired his fans to follow suit.
