Thalapathy Vijay's highly-anticipated film, "GOAT", is set to hit cinemas on September 5th. The action-packed entertainer, directed by Venkat Prabhu, initially received a 'U/A' certification from the censor board. The censor report revealed that the film's original runtime was 2 hours, 59 minutes, and 39 seconds (179.39 minutes).
Today, news broke that "The Greatest Of All Time" has undergone re-censorship. While there are no new content changes, the film's duration has been extended to 3 hours, 3 minutes, and 14 seconds (183.14 minutes). This minor increase in runtime has sparked curiosity among fans. Sources indicate that the team has added a 3.5-minute bloopers video to the film, which accounts for the extended runtime.
In the meantime, director Venkat Prabhu has teased the release of a special song from "GOAT" in the coming days. According to reports, the fourth single from the movie is expected to be unveiled on August 31st, coinciding with the birthday of composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, who scored the music for the film. This epic action saga is the penultimate film in Vijay's filmography.
