Fans of Thalapathy Vijay are eagerly awaiting the release of his upcoming film, "The Greatest Of All Time" (GOAT). The movie, initially certified with a 'U/A' rating and a runtime of 2 hours and 59 minutes, has recently been re-censored to a slightly longer duration of 3 hours and 3 minutes. This change has sparked speculation among fans about the possibility of a sequel.
According to sources, "GOAT" was re-censored due to the addition of a 3.5-minute bloopers reel. However, rumours quickly spread that a scene leading to the second part of the film had been added, prompting the re-censorship. Despite the buzz, such a sequel seems improbable, as Vijay is expected to retire from cinema following "Thalapathy 69." It is also noteworthy that while Vijay made his entry into the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) with "Leo." But his participation in future LCU films remains uncertain.
Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "GOAT" is an action-packed saga set to release on September 5th. The film's fourth single, composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is slated to be released on August 31, coinciding with Yuvan's birthday. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Sneha, Ajmal, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and others.
