Thalapathy Vijays GOAT OTT release date officially announced! - Is it the extended version?

Thalapathy Vijay's much-anticipated film "The Greatest Of All Time (GOAT)", which hit theatres on September 5, has taken the box office by storm. Directed by Venkat Prabhu, this high-octane action entertainer received a warm reception from both audiences and critics, despite a few mixed reviews. With its engaging 3-hour runtime, "GOAT" delivered a thrilling cinematic experience that kept fans glued to their seats.

In an exciting update, Netflix, which had previously acquired the digital streaming rights, announced today that "GOAT" will be available for streaming starting October 3. Fans can watch the movie in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. Adding to the excitement, director Venkat Prabhu had hinted earlier that an extended version of "GOAT", featuring deleted scenes, might be released on the OTT platform. Viewers are eager to find out if this comes to fruition.

On the box office front, "GOAT" has been nothing short of a mega-blockbuster, grossing over ₹500 crore worldwide. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the film stars Vijay in dual roles, along with an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Mohan, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, and others. With music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the film also featured special cameo appearances by Trisha and Sivakarthikeyan.
