S Thaman is a music composer and playback singer, who primarily works in Telugu, Tamil cinema and occasionally in Kannada Cinema. He entered the film industry as a supporting musician with a Telugu film and later became a standalone music director, who rose to fame through his chartbusters.

Thaman made his debut as a composer in Kollywood with the 2008 horror-thriller 'Eeram', produced by director Shankar. He also debuted as an actor by playing one of the five lead roles in ace director Shankar's Boys (2003). Currently, the 'Osthe' composer is the most sought-after music director in Telugu and Tamil cinema.

Now, Thaman has amazed the fans with his stupendous physical transformation. The musician lost around 40 kgs recently and posted the transformation photo on his Instagram page and it has gone viral. He began his weight loss journey at 137 kgs and now toned down to 101 kgs. Fans, who were already excited after seeing Simbu's mass transformation, are now even more excited to see the change of Thaman and showering wishes.

On the professional front, Thaman is now composing music for ‘Thalapathy 66’, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film starring Vijay and directed by Vamshi Paidipally. He is also scoring for Sivakarthikeyan’s Tamil-Telugu bilingual project with acclaimed director Anudeep and Mahesh Babu’s massive budget biggie ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’.
