Thalapathy does a Puratchi Thalaivar in 'Mersal' opening scene?

Sri Thenadal Studios' 100th film 'Mersal' directed by Atlee and starring Thalapathy Vijay had a grand audio launch a few days earlier with millions of fans treated to A.R.Rahman's mesmerizing music thanks to the live telecast.

It is a known fact that Vijay is playing triple roles comprising of a village headman, a straightforward doctor and a magician. It is now being reported that in the opening sequence of 'Mersal' a ferocious tiger on the loose will enter a large theater full of people and the magician Vijay will tame it. Usually such scenes will be shot by using extensive graphics, but like Puratchi Thalaivar MGR, Vijay chose to muscle a real tiger and a trained one was brought to the sets and the sequence according to reports has come out in a thrilling fashion. Well, in just inside of a month and a half we will know the authenticity of this news when the film hits the screens on Diwali.
