Actress Meera Mitun has stirred quite a hornet's nest on social media by making vulgar attacks against Thalapathy Vijay and Suriya and not stopping with that she has also made slanderous and abusive remarks against their wives Sangeetha and Jyothika respectively. Vijay and Suriya fans have been giving back in kind online and the exchange of abuse continues between the two warring parties which make normal users run for cover.

Many senior members of Kollywood have been urging the Nadigar Sangam to take action against Meera Mitun for her continuous mudslinging on the achievers of Kollywood including Trisha, Aishwarya Rajesh, Dhanush and Malavika Mohanan.

Meanwhile on behalf of the Vijay Makkal Iyakkam fans of Thalapathy Vijay have lodged a police complaint against Meera Mitun at the Pattukottai police station. They have demanded a public apology from the starlet turned Bigg Boss contestant. It remains to be seen if any action would be taken on the petition by VMM Pattukottai leader Aadhirajaram and the zonal leader Madhan.
