The coronavirus pandemic has caused most of the nations to enter into lockdown mode including India which has now gone past a month and is likely to be inactive for a few more weeks.

The lockdown has slowed down the spread of the disease but has put daily wage earners and lower and middle class people in dire straits that even a square meal is in question. Many celebrities from Kollywood have donated for the coronavirus relief and Thalapathy Vijay on Wednesday announced a 1.3 Crore rupees package split between the Tamil Nadu government, Indian government, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala and the FEFSI union. It was also said that he has donated another huge amount in excess of 50 Lakhs to his fan club members.

Today it has been widely circulated on the internet that many of Thalapthy Vijay fans have started receiving rupees five thousand in their accounts directly as a coronavirus relief amount. Fans are celebrating the fact that their much-loved hero is giving them a much-needed aid in these tough times.
