Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' which was released yesterday August 10th has reportedly taken a gigantic opening at the worldwide box office. It is said that the film collected in excess of rupees ninety crores on day one making it a massive success at the box office with the upcoming five day holiday weekend.

Now the hot news doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Thalapathy Vijay who is vacationing abroad apparently called his 'Beast' director Nelson and congratulated him on the grand success of 'Jailer'. This gesture has put to rest the recent rumours that all is not well between Rajini and Vijay and there is a behind the scenes tug of war for the superstar tag.

Incidentally Nelson in his speech during the audio launch of 'Jailer' revealed that it was Vijay who gave him the confidence to go and narrate the script to Rajinikanth assuring him that the senior superstar will like the script.

'Jailer' has music by Anirudh and is produced by Sun Pictures with Rajini, Mohan Lal, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Tamannaah Bhatia, Sunil, Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Yogi Babu and Vinayakan in the cast.
