Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' is the most awaited mega flick that is more or less ready to hit the screens once normalcy returns after the coronavirus threat. 'Meyaadha Maan' director Rathnakumar who is the co-writer of this film has shared that there is only about ten days postproduction work that is pending and the team is raring to go.

Rathnakumar has stated that the uniqueness of Thalapathy Vijay's character in 'Master' is that he would be like his subtle self in real life but that will be the main mass element and within the demands of the script. He has also added that the scenes between Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi who plays the antagonist are so powerful that the team was in dilemma during editing when the length had to be cut for duration otherwise all the shots would be in the film.

'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj has music score by Anirudh and the ensemble cast that is on board alongside Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi include Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Arjun Das and Shantanu Bhagyaraj.
