Thalapathy Vijay, one of the most bankable superstars of Tamil cinema is currently shooting for his new gangster flick 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The current schedule is in Chennai and his mother Shobha Chandrasekhar apprently met him today.

It is said that Vijay celebrated the 50th wedding anniversary of his parents Shobha and director S.A. Chandrasekhar. The adorable photo that has gone viral on the internet shows Vijay seated on the ground with his mother lovingly placing her hands on his shoulder while seated on a sofa.

Vijay, born on June 22nd 1974 is the only son of Shobha and Chandrasekhar as their daughter Vidya passed away at the age of two. Vijay and SAC who was instrumental in making him a superstar have been estranged for the past few years due to differences in political ideologies.

On the professional front Vijay, after completing 'Leo' is expected to start his 68th film by the end of this year. While initially it was said that Atlee would direct it, names such as Gopichand Mallineni, H. Vinoth and others are now reportedly in talks with Super Good Films set to bankroll.
