Thalapathy Vijay's birthday was the most trending topic on social media yesterday breaking all previous records and this year more celebrities joined fans in wishing the mass hero on his special day. P.T. Selvakumar a former manager of Vijay was also the coproducer of his fantasy adventure film 'Puli' directed by Simbu Devan that also starred Sridevi, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani.

Selvakumar who heads the political outfit Kalappai Makkal Katchi on the occasion of Vijay's birthday distributed lambs and rice bags to 108 down trodden women and physically disabled people residing in Mayiladi Devalai in Kumari district, Valliyoor Poochikaadu in Nellai district.

Speaking to newsmen Selvakumar explained that the daily wage earners in Tamil Nadu are worst affected by the coronavirus having lost their livelihood continuously for sixty days and that he took the opportunity of the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay's birthday to give relief items. He also urged the well to do businessmen to contribute to the unfortunate people of the society.
