In Chennai, a fire accident occurred at an event organized to celebrate actor-turned-politician Vijay's birthday. A young boy attempted to showcase his martial skills by breaking tiles with his hand set on fire. Unfortunately, the fire spread after he broke the tiles. The situation escalated when the person with the kerosene bottle tried to help him, causing the fire to spread further on the stage.

The people at the event quickly controlled the fire. A video of the incident went viral on the internet. The boy is currently receiving treatment in a hospital. In an interview, the boy's parents clarified that he is recovering and that his performance at the event was done with their consent.
