Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Bigil’ to have an unusual release?

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Bigil’ has the music score of Isaipuyal A.R. Rahman and the grand audio launch is going to take place on September 19th.  AGS Entertainment the producers of the biggie have already announced that the worldwide release will be on Diwali.  The festive date 27th October falls on a Sunday and industry insiders were of the opinion that it will be strategically apt to prepone and hit the screens on Friday the 25th or even the previous day.

Now unconfirmed reports suggest that AGS has decided to stick to the Sunday release and are keen to bring ‘Bigil’ to the fans exactly on Diwali.  If this turns out to be true then it will be an unusual release as traditionally Tamil films have hit the screens mostly on Fridays and sometimes on Thursdays.

‘Bigil’ directed by Atlee has the top-notch cast of Vijay, Nayanthara, Kathir, Indhuja, Yogi Babu, Anandaraj, Daniel Balaji, Vivek and Jackie Shroff.  G.K. Vishnu is handling the camera, T. Muthuraj is the production designer and Ruben is taking care of the cuts.
