Actress and model Gayathri Reddy Known best among Tamil cinema fans for playing the role of Maari in 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Bigil announced her engagement on Sunday and congratulatory messages are pouring from every corner of the film industry.

Gayathri shared photos from her intimate engagement ceremony on her social media handle and wrote in the caption: "Hand in hand, you and me till the end 29-04-2022" along with the hashtags "#engaged #mrstobe #newchapterbegins".

Gayathri made her acting debut with the film ‘Bigil’ in 2019. She started her career as a model and then stepped into the industry. She played an important role in the film as one of the 11 players of the female football team and shared the screen space with Nayanthara and Vijay for quite a while. She also appeared in a cameo role in the film ‘Lift’ which featured Kavin and Amritha Aiyer in the lead role.

Gayathri Reddy has also appeared in a cameo in the 2021 horror-thriller film, Life, which premiered as a direct OTT release on Disney+ Hotstar. She was also one of the contestants on the reality show Survivor, which was telecast on Zee Tamil.
