The team of Thalapathy Vijay's new movie 'Varisu' are working over time to wrap up the shooting and the postprodution in real quick time to meet the release deadline of Pongal 2023. The film directed by Vamshi Paidipally is produced by Dil Raju with Thaman scoring the music.

Meanwhile actress Samyuktha of 'Bigg Boss 5' fame who is playing an important character in 'Varisu' has opened up about her experience. While participating in a popular television game show she gushed that Vijay is a wonderful costar and she was amazed by his punctuality to the sets every single day however early in the morning he was required.

She stated "The experience of working in the movie was great. It will be a great success on release. I witnessed Vijay's dancing in person and it was a unique moment. After he completes even one step, the entire set will applaud, which is incredibly energising to all those present."

Samyuktha added that Vijay complimented her on her good looks and she was floored. She also gave the update that only two action sequences and a couple of songs remain after which the shooting will be wrapped.

'Varisu' has the ensemble cast of Thalapathy Vijay, Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, S.J. Suryah, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu.
