‘Beast’ technician is the latest addition to Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ star cast – Song updates

The final leg of the ‘Varisu’ shooting, starring Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna, is currently going on in full swing. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the entire shoot of the Tamil -Telugu bilingual is likely to be wrapped up on October third week. Sri Venkateswara Creations produced the movie.

South India’s popular music director Thaman is composing the soundtrack and background score for Varisu. It is worth mentioning that he bagged the National Award for Best Music Director recently for his work in the Telugu movie ‘Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo’. Now, the latest news is that Thaman has composed a power-packed folk number for Varisu.

Thaman used amazing rhythm players and countryside musicians for the much-awaited kuthu song. As per the reports, the film will have six songs out of which five will be duets. This folk number is said to be Vijay’s opening track in Varisu. The first single from the album will be released on Diwali 2022. The movie is gearing up for a grand release in Pongal 2023.

Also, the hot news is that famous art director and actor DRK Kiran is the latest addition to the star cast of Varisu. The film also features Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Yogi Babu, Shaam, Ganesh Venkatram, Srikanth, Khushbu, Jayasudha, Sangeetha, Samyuktha and others. Karthick Palani cranks the camera while Praveen KL handles the editing.
