The shooting of Thalapathy Vijay's biggie 'Beast' is currently proceeding at a brisk phase. This action-thriller is being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and backed by Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures. The Beast team is shooting the combination scenes of Vijay and the leading lady Pooja Hegde in Chennai now. Today, the actress shared a picture of her getting ready for the scene on social media.

Beast is rumoured to be an invasion thriller set in a shopping mall where Thalapathy Vijay is said to be the lifesaver of the civilians captured in the invasion. This film will be shot in posh locales of Chennai and overseas. The current schedule is happening in Chennai and the cast & crew will fly to Russia for the upcoming schedule.

This morning, Pooja Hegde took to Instagram to share an image of herself prepping for the shoot of Beast. She can be seen memorising her Tamil lines as she gets ready for the shoot. Dressed in a bathrobe, Pooja's assistants are working on her make-up and hair. The Beast actress’ latest post is now doing rounds on the internet. Netizens and Thalapathy Vijay’s fans had gone frenzy over the continuous updates on the movie.

Sharing the photo, she wrote, " #candid #happyspace." Along with the caption, she added the notepad, camera and film reel sticker, indicating that she's prepping for the shoot. Pooja is having a very busy year juggling multiple projects in different languages. She has Prabhas's Radhe Shyam, Chiranjeevi-Ram Charan's Acharya, Akhil Akkineni's Most Eligible Bachelor, Ranveer Singh's Cirkus and Salman Khan's Bhaijaan in the pipeline.

While Selvaraghavan and Shine Tom Chacko were roped in the cast to play baddie roles, Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu and Aparna Das have joined the sets in this Chennai schedule. Anirudh is composing the soundtrack and the background score of Beast. The ensemble cast also includes VTV Ganesh, Lilliput Faruiqui and Ankur Ajit Vikal.
