Director Ameer critically acclaimed for his films 'Ram' and 'Paruthiveeran' in a recent interview has stated that he had narrated two scripts to Thalapathy Vijay and is waiting for the opportune moment to work with him.  Ameer shared that he had met Vijay and had narrated a social film 'Kannapiraan' and also another historical subject which were both liked by the mass hero.

Ameer who is currently acting with Dhanush in 'Vada Chennai' and a solo hero subject 'Peranbu Konda Periyorgale' is confident that pretty soon talks will resume with Vijay and the combo will happen.  He has also shared that he cannot imagine anyone else in the place of the Thalapathy for 'Kannapiraan'.  Vijay meanwhile is busy shooting 'Thalapathy 62' directed by A.R. Murugadoss in which Keerthy Suresh plays the lead heroine.
