Since Thalapathy Vijay's next film 'Leo' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj is slated for release on October 19th the preproduction work of his new project 'Thalapathy 68' is going on in full swing. Day by day new updates have started emerging though none have been confirmed by the production house AGS Productions.

So far the only official word is that Venkat Prabhu and Yuvan Shankar Raja are the director and music director respectively of 'Thalapathy 68'. However reliable sources say that popular cinematographer Siddharth Nuni has been roped in for the project. Siddharth's body of work include 'Lucia', Simbu's 'Vendhu Thanindhadhu Kaadu' and Dhanush's 'Captain Miller' releasing this December 15th.

It is also widely reported that Vijay will be playing dual roles and Jyothika and Priyanka Mohan will be his pairs. While its the third time that Vijay will be teaming up with Jo this will be his first with 'Doctor' girl Priyanka. Stay tuned for the official word.
