Thalapathy Vijay starrer 'Varisu' is all set to hit the screens on Pongal 2023. We all know that the actor is teaming up with director Lokesh Kanagaraj after this family entertainer for the upcoming film, 'Thalapathy 67'. It is said to be the biggest project in his career yet.

Thalapathy 67 went on the floors with a muhurat puja last month. Now, the latest we hear is that the movie's shooting begins in Chennai today. The first schedule will go on for around 10 days before the Pongal break. According to sources, the highly anticipated film will be announced with a Vikram-style teaser video by the end of this month.

Thalapathy 67 marks the second collaboration of the 'Master' combo - Vijay, director Lokesh Kanagaraj and Seven Screen Studio. The movie is said to be a part of the LCU. Anirudh will be scoring music for the project. Reportedly, Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, director Gautham Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan are playing pivotal roles in the film.
