Popular hero indirectly confirms acting in 'Thalapathy 67'?

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' is slated to release on Pongal 2023 in Tamil and Telugu with very high expectations. At the same time there is an unprecedented level of anticipation for the mass hero's next film 'Thalapathy 67' as well . It is the second film of the Vijay-Lokesh Kanagaraj combo after 'Master' and also the fact that the latter's recent film 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan turned out to be an all time blockbuster hit has made the project too hot to handle.

It was earlier reported that Lokesh held talks with famous Malayalam actors Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nivin Pauly for a powerful character in 'Thalapathy 67'. But a recent social media post of another popular Malayalam star Unni Mukundan as created a buzz that he may have bagged the much coveted role.

Unni has posted a selfie in a blurred style and captioned it Lifetime settlement for those who can Master this selfie. Since the words Lifetime settlement were used in Lokesh's 'Kaithi' as well as 'Vikram' and the mention of the director's 'Master' as well suggests that Unni is hinting at his inclusion in 'Thalapathy 67'.

There are reports about Vishal, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mysskin, Gautham Menon, Trisha, Samantha and Keerthy Suresh being part of 'Thalapathy 67'. Now the addition of Unni has added more color to it.

Unni Mukundan who is a big name in Malayalam cinema actually made his acting debut in the Tamil film 'Seedan' also starring Dhanush. He later appeared alongside Anushka Shetty in 'Bhagmathee' and will soon be seen opposite Samantha in 'Yashoda' releasing on November 11th.
